Different viewpoin ts are related an d tied togeth er by shared design at ed phenomena. Ch oosi n g which phenomena are to be design ated an d which are shared is a fun dam ental decision about h ow we th in k th e world fits togeth er, h ow our descriptions fit toget h er, an d h ow requiremen ts fit togeth er. An effective viewpoin ts approach requires a soun d basis in phenomenology in general, an d sh ared phenomena in particular.
